Competition Rules

Effective Date: February 10, 2025

  1. Competition Responsibilities and Entry Fees
    • Responsibility for Prizes and Awarding: All aspects of a competition—including prize responsibilities, award distribution, and the overall integrity of any voting or awarding mechanism—are solely determined by the competition creator.
    • Entry Fee Requirement: Participation in a competition requires the payment of an entry fee. No entry will be accepted unless the fee is paid.
  2. General Competition Roles
    • The Terms indicate that general roles and responsibilities for competitions are provided as guidelines.
    • Specific details (such as additional rules or particular responsibilities) will be clearly detailed in the competition’s description field for each individual competition.
  3. Sponsorship Disclaimer
    • Apple and Google is not sponsoring any competition, nor is it involved in the voting or awarding mechanisms.
    • The use of Apple's and Google's platform by Pixat does not imply any sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation regarding the competition or its outcomes. All related responsibilities and processes are managed solely by the competition creator.
  4. Award Issuance
    • If a participant wins a contest or promotion, they must provide accurate payment information.
    • Once the information is verified, the award will be issued within three (3) working days (Sunday to Thursday).
  5. Delays
    • Pixat is not responsible for any delays in award issuance caused by incomplete or inaccurate information, bank holidays, or actions by financial institutions beyond Pixat’s control.
  6. Voting Mechanism
    • Weighted Voting: Votes may carry different weights based on the voter’s role (e.g., competition owner, registered user, guest user).
    • Adaptive Voting: Internal algorithms may increase the voting weight for “good voters,” although increased weight is not guaranteed.
    • Fairness and Anti-Manipulation: Any attempt to manipulate the voting process (such as using bots or creating multiple accounts) may lead to disqualification. Pixat reserves the right to remove suspicious votes and investigate allegations of manipulation.
    • Finality: Voting results are final and binding, with no user appeals permitted.
  7. Additional Requirements
    • Specific contests or promotions may have their own detailed rules.
    • In the event of any conflict between these general Terms and a contest-specific rule, the specific rule will take precedence.
