At Pixat, our goal is to achieve a highly fair and transparent voting mechanism. We design our system to ensure that every vote counts in a way that reflects genuine community input while preventing abuse. Please review our simplified voting rules below:
Weighted Voting
Different User Types: Votes may count differently based on your role. For example, competition owners have the highest voting weight, registered users have a moderate weight, and guest users have the lowest weight.
Adjustments for Fairness: We may adjust these weightings from time to time to keep the process fair.
Adaptive Voting
Recognizing Good Voters: Our system may reward users who consistently vote fairly by increasing their voting weight. This "good voter" status is determined by our internal algorithms.
No Guarantee: While our goal is to reward fairness, increased weight is not guaranteed for every voter.
Fairness and Anti-Manipulation
No Cheating Allowed: Any attempt to manipulate the voting process (for example, using bots or creating multiple accounts) is strictly prohibited and may lead to disqualification.
Vote Verification: We reserve the right to remove any votes that seem suspicious to maintain the integrity of the contest.
Final Outcome
Binding Results: The results of the voting are final. Although we strive for transparency, certain parts of our voting process remain proprietary.
No Appeals: Once the voting is complete, the outcome is binding and not subject to further appeals.
